Ten minutes by road from the Resort, much deeper into the forest, on Limban's private plot perfectly secured and fenced. Two pods sit raised above the treeline. Floor-to-ceiling glass faces the wilderness directly. No buffer. No manicured lawns between you and whatever moves through the trees. Deer, langurs, hundreds of bird species, and more often than you think, a tiger.
Inside, a king-size bed, full air conditioning, and chairs by the glass where you can sit with your morning coffee or an evening drink and simply watch. The pods are surrounded by bamboo for privacy on all sides. The front is entirely open to the wild. A dedicated vehicle picks you up from the resort and brings you back whenever you choose. A personal butler looks after everything at the pods. Meals can be had right here, or at any of our restaurants back at Limban. Your call, every time.
This is Tadoba without the filter. No footsteps outside your door, no ambient resort noise. Just the forest doing what it does, and you with the best seat to watch it. Unlike most hotel websites and booking portals which offer instant "Book Now" buttons, we take a radically different approach. Once you reserve, we contact you to first discuss the safari options available during your dates. We then book your safaris with the forest department. Only after we receive confirmation from the forest department do we confirm your room at Limban.
This ensures everything is properly arranged long before you arrive.
Here's why this matters.
No, the rate for The Pod is per room, per night, not per person. This price includes your room or suite, daily breakfast, high-tea, and welcome drinks for the standard occupancy of the room. See our Guest Info / Terms for full details.
Your stay includes daily housekeeping, breakfast and high tea, welcome refreshments on arrival, and free parking. You'll have full access to our pool, library, and games room, plus use of our bicycles and freshly prepared packed meals for safari departures. On-site activities are all entirely complimentary — badminton, croquet, billiards, table tennis, foosball, carrom, darts, and board games. Our team is always on hand to help with whatever you need.
Your suite will be ready for check-in at 1:00 PM. Check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you're arriving early or need a little more time in The Pod, please let us know, and we'll do our best to accommodate you subject to availability.
We understand that plans can change, so we try to be as flexible as possible. We offer a full refund for cancellations made 14+ days before arrival. Cancellations within 14 days incur tiered charges. Absolutely. A stay at The Pod makes for a truly memorable gift for birthdays, anniversaries, or any special occasions. We can arrange a gift voucher with dates left open so that the recipient can choose when they would like to visit (subject to availability).
